Independent Review of Tasmania's Water Management Planning Framework

Services are required to review Tasmania’s water management planning policy (Water Management Planning - Guiding Principles for the Development of Statutory Water Management Plans in Tasmania September 2018) and legislative planning framework (Part 4 of the Water Management Act 1999) with input from key stakeholders and provision of independent expert advice on options and areas for improvements to Tasmanian water management planning policies, processes and legislation that are practical, efficient and cost effective in the context of relevant Tasmanian and National policy environments and other key drivers.
