Emergency Generator Unit - Request For Offers

The Department of Economic Development, operating as Tasmania Development and Resources, wishes to dispose of a surplus emergency generator unit that is located at the Hobart Technopark, Dowsings Point. The unit is a 330Kva Dorman diesel linked to a Stamford alternator, housed in a weather resistant enclosure with integral base fuel tank. The unit was purchased as a second hand refurbished generator in 2004, but has had little use and is currently decommissioned. Included with the generator is a new electrical switchboard and changeover contactors. Offerors should note that a reserve offer price applies and the unit is sold on the basis of “as is – where is” and the unit must be paid for and removed within 14 days of acceptance of the offer.
