Description
The Contract Authority is required to undertake the burial of deceased indigent persons in the Perth metropolitan area (defined as within 75km radius from the GPO Perth including Mandurah) where there is no person to arrange the funeral or, if there is a person (next of kin) who could arrange the funeral, that person is unwilling to do so. The Public Trustee has been identified as the most appropriate organisation to deal with such funeral arrangements.
