The Inmate Transport Pod is required to escort maximum rated inmates under secure conditions between correctional centres and courts. The vehicle will accommodate 12 inmates in 6 separate compartments. The Pod is to fit onto a twin cab chassis truck supplied by the Tasmania Prison Service.
