Description

The operator of the Ranger Uranium Mine, Energy Resources of Australia, is required to produce an Annual Plan of Rehabilitation that sets out a detailed description of the work which would be required to rehabilitate the Ranger Project Area if operations were to cease on 31 March and rehabilitation commences within 30 days thereafter.

The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science holds a rehabilitation security for Ranger. The security is based on an independent assessment of the cost of the operator’s amended Annual Plan of Rehabilitation.

Accordingly, the Department invites suitably qualified consultants/contractors to submit a tender for an independent assessment of the cost of rehabilitating the Ranger Project Area (‘the services’).
