Description
The Road Safety Reforms are an initiative of the South Australian State Government and the implementation of the initiatives under Phase 3 of these reforms are key elements of Transport SA and SAPOL’s strategy to reduce the frequency and consequence of road trauma.
In April/May 2005, Cabinet approved a series of initiatives that will be introduced under Phase 3. To achieve these initiatives SAPOL is required
To manage, in a “budget neutral’ environment, the:
• development or procurement of appropriate information systems;
• completion of business processes re-engineering with the primary focus being on digital camera technology; and
• recruitment and training of appropriate staff.
In addition, there are a series of system changes currently being developed that relate to other legislative and process changes that will be managed by this project.
SAPOL is now seeking the services of a project manager, to manage Phase 3 of the Road Safety Reform projects within SAPOL.
