Repeated Tenders in the Wet Tropics and Burdekin (Reef Trust Phase IV)

(a) The Department is looking for a Service Provider/s to ensure efficient and effective on-ground delivery of the Project. Service Provider partnerships in the delivery of the Project is encouraged.
(b) The Service Provider/s will have a key role in communicating – through promotion and information sessions – the Project to potential applicants. This will include implementation of a communications approach that provides an understanding of the Project and generates interest within the regions.
(c) Key to the success of the Project is the repeated reverse auctions, used to allocate funding to successful applicants. Stage one of the reverse auction is an expression of interest (EOI) stage, the second a reverse auction stage. These will be followed by the Service Provider/s entering into and managing grant contracts with applicant(s) who are successful in the reverse auction stage. The Service Provider/s will be required to monitor the compliance of successful applicants with their contractual obligations and allocate funding to them in accordance with the grant contracts. In addition, the Service Provider/s will be required to monitor Project outcomes including analysing yield outputs and disseminating Project outcomes across the Burdekin and Wet Tropics natural resource management (NRM) regions. The Service Provider/s will also be required to provide advice to assist with finalising the design of the Project.
