Provision of Imperva SaaS Web Application Firewall Renewal

The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) recently replaced two (2) hardware Web Application Firewall (WAF) appliances with the Imperva’s Software as a Service (SaaS) equivalent to protect the department’s online systems from malicious activity and intrusion. These firewalls have been instrumental in protecting the department’s online systems for almost a decade, including protection against hacking, denial of service and data mining. DEMIRS is seeking to renew the annual software assurance and support on the above products to ensure it can continue to offer these services reliably and securely.

The renewal sought is essentially maintaining the security protection DEMIRS receives with the use of Software as a Service (SaaS) Web Application Firewalls from Imperva.
