North Lakes SC - Sports Hall Repairs (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Sports Stadium Repairs at North Lakes SC, located at Joyner Circuit, North Lakes QLD 4059, as part of the TMP (Targeted) program.

The proposed scope of works includes but is not limited to the replacement of roof sheeting and flashings, external louvres and cladding, waterproofing, supply and installation of window hoods and corrosion treatment and repair, to the existing multi-purpose sports hall. The position of the building is at the centre of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by August 2025.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
