Northern Treatment Plants Capital Works Program

Queensland Urban Utiltiies (QUU) has a program of treatment plant upgrades to be undertaken over the next five years. In planning for these upgrades QUU has examined a range of procurement strategies and delivery options. This work identified that a Regional Treatment Delivery Program using an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) procurement framework would most likely meet QUU’s objectives. This procurement framework strategically underpins the future state objectives outlined in QUU’s PMA Blueprint. Through a long term engagement together with deeper relationships and a “One Team” approach, QUU will be setting the foundations for efficient capital delivery.
