Aspley State High School - Outdoor Learning Area (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a new outdoor learning area (OLA) at Aspley State High School, located at 651 Zillmere Road, Aspley Qld 4034, as part of the School Infrastructure Enchanement (SIE) program.

The new outdoor learning area will create a collorbation space between the current English and Art blocks. The position of the building is in the middle of the school. All works are to be completed by June 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1M

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
