Description
Supply of Portable Resuscitation Equipment
The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service are in the process of standardising all of its Portable Resuscitation Equipment. As a result of this standardisation the QFRS requires offers from suppliers/manufacturers for the supply of Portable Resuscitators that meet the specifications of this document.
The resuscitation equipment must provide in a single unit the means to provide resuscitation to the non-breathing patient and ventilation support to the breathing patient. The unit must be able to provide Intermittent Positive Pressure Ventilation (IPPV), Positive End-Expiratory Pressure (PEEP), oxygen therapy and suction to a patient using an internal or external connected oxygen supply.
