Description

Invitation to tender for the purchase of one only 26 meter long x 350mm diameter Keogh Grunter Grain Auger surplus after the sale of the Tasmanian Grain Elevators Board (TGEB). Originally used for loading and reclaiming grain from a 10,000 tonne bunker complex. The Auger is currently located in Northern Tasmania and would need to be dismantled for shipment by an interstate buyer. The Auger was purchased from the manufacturer B Keogh & Sons Victoria in 2001 for $118,000 plus GST. The machine has only been operated for two seasons and was made redundent upon the sale of the TGEB facilities.
