The service needs analysis will fulfil two primary purposes:
- To provide recommendations to the Department of Health and Ageing, OATSIH, and Department of the Premier and Cabinet about identified drug and alcohol service needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people having consulted widely with stakeholders in South Australia;
- To offer detailed advice about priorities for the future investment of funds by government relating to future drug and alcohol services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in South Australia.
