NOTICE TO TENDERERS
SCHOOL SITE VISIT PROCEDURES AND TENDERING
 Please assemble outside the Administration Building. From there you will be escorted to each building to be inspected.
 All Tenderers will have the option of physical inspection of buildings from ground level, and by ladders to 1st and 2nd storey roofs.
 Ladders for inspections will be provided on site for all inspections.
 All Tenderers must comply with clauses 1.15 Visiting The Site and 2.15 Restrictions On Access.
Tenderers are encouraged to visit the site at the pre-arranged date and time as roof access will not be granted after the designated time.
 Each school has a priority programme as to which buildings can be vacated and when to allow work to proceed in an orderly manner; a works duration programme has also been prepared.
All this information is included in the Specification, section "DOCUMENTS 00870 Schedules and Tables", Item 3.02 PROGRAMME FOR WORKS. Tenders must be prepared to accept these as part of their Tender submission.
This programme has progressive handovers of whole or parts of building to allow schools to re-use areas completed even where miscellaneous external works may still be in progress and the Contractor is to make due allowance for this.
 Contractors are advised that to comply with the Programme For Works, orders for roofing shall immediately be placed subsequent to award or the receipt of Award or Notice of Intent to Award the contract.
