Construction of Walebing Curve

Brief Description of Works: Proposed works are located in the Shire of Moora on the current Great Northern Highway – Muchea to Wubin upgrade.

Construction of approximately 4.5km of new carriageway including a northbound overtaking lane. Approximately 1.7km construction and realignment of side roads.

Works to include supply and installation of traffic facilities and lighting.

“It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction (Improving Productivity) Act 2016, at the time of the Tender closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2016 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au)”
