National Program Support Service Program - US Force Posture Review Phase 2

This project will provide facilities to support 1200 US Marines deployed to Darwin through Stage 2 of the Marine Rotation Force - Darwin (MRF-D) at Robertson Barracks and RAAF Base Darwin.

This acquisition is being conducted through a two stage procurement process. The first stage is represented by this Invitation to Register Interest (ITR). Organisations will be selected through this ITR to be invited to participate in the second stage of the procurement process which will be a Request For Tender (RFT). Only organisations selected by the Commonwealth as a result of this ITR will be invited to respond to the second stage RFT.

At the time of issuing this Invitation to Register Interest, the works include the following:

Robertson Barracks
(a) Modular sleeping accommodation for approximately 200 with associated ablution and amenity rooms blocks;
(b) Modular working accommodation for approximately 120 with associated ablution and amenity blocks;
(c) Ancillary shelter structure, storage facilities and access control;
(d) Site works to include necessary preparation, storm water, and water connectivity; and
(e) Local upgrades to power, fire water and communications services infrastructure.
RAAF Darwin
(f) Modular sleeping accommodation for approximately 130 with associated ablution and amenity rooms blocks;
(g) Minor refurbishment to existing facilities at the Fighter Replenishment Area (FRA);
(h) Site works to include necessary preparation, storm water, and water connectivity; and
(i) Local upgrades to power, fire water and communications services infrastructure.
At the time of issuing this Invitation to Register Interest, the Commonwealth of Australia (Commonwealth) intends to procure the works using the design and construct delivery method, under the Defence Head Contract (HC-1 2003).
