Description
The Contract is for the inspection and maintenance of pumps and associated equipment owned by the Principal.
The term ‘maintenance’ includes:
a)All works involved in immediate repairs that ensure the pump andassociated equipment continues to function according to its design.
b)Works that are aimed at maintaining the pump and associated equipment to designed working order.
c)The inspecting, testing and reporting of the condition of pump and associated equipment.
d)Any other work as directed by the Superintendent.
The term pump and associated equipment within the meaning of this specification is defined as all manufactured pumps and ancillary items that are listed in the Appendix of the tender document.
