Description
Removal of the old road surface; Demolition of the bridge including all steelwork, concrete deck and piers down to the natural surface level; Removal of the approach embankments. The riverbank will then be subsequently rehabilitated; and Upgrade the new Scamander River Bridge to provide safer pedestrian access including new pedestrian fencing. The project objective is to demolish the old Scamander River Bridge whilst providing improved pedestrian safety access on the adjacent new Scamander Bridge. The scope of work includes:
