Description
The Transport Commission is seeking to engage a private operator to trial a Derwent River passenger ferry service between Bellerive and Hobart.
The trial will be conducted for a minimum period of one year and may be extended by a further one year.
The Derwent River ferry service will provide a fast, safe, and convenient passenger transport option for commuters, cater to passengers with bicycles, and meet all accessibility requirements. The service will operate during weekday peak periods with passenger terminals located at Kangaroo Bay and Sullivans Cove.
