TAS Department of Health
Urgent Care Clinic - Liverpool Street Hobart
Details
Description
Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from general practices to operate Urgent Care Clinics (UCCs) in Tasmania.
As part of a Commonwealth Government initiative to open 50 UCCs across Australia, a total of three UCCs will be established across Tasmania; being one each in the southern, northern and north west regions.
UCCs are intended to deliver low acuity urgent care, including assessment and treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, at no out-of-pocket cost to the patient. They will be expected to open extended hours, seven days a week and have timely access to the necessary equipment, including imaging facilities, for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
