Public Space Improvements - Between Constitution and Victoria Docks, Franklin Wharf Hobart

The Sullivans Cove Waterfront Authority is inviting contractors to submit tenders to provide the required public space improvements works including road construction and civil works as part of the Franklin Wharf Improvements Project. The area works includes: Davey Street entry to Constitution and Victoria Docks; Carpark between the docks which mainly services the fish punts and Mures Restaurant; Pedestrian walkway on the northern edge of Constitution Dock adjacent to the fish punts; and The western edge of Victoria Dock parallel to Davey Street. The scope of works includes but is not limited to: Removal and Demolition works; Construction of a new slip lane entry to Constitution and Victoria Docks; Reorganisation of the dock car park including existing line marking removal, line marking of car parking bays and road markings, and repositioning of urban details including wheel stops, signage, rubbish bins and seating; and Excavating an area of existing asphalt pavement (including installation of pavement lighting) along the northern edge of Constitution Dock adjacent to the fish punts and resurfacing with concrete to match existing.
