The purpose of the consultancy is to assess:
1. Current and projected structure of the industry - including wood flow, processing and contracting activity and capacity, and associated activities, analysed spatially by FT region;
2. Current and projected direct employment in the industry, analysed spatially by region; and
3. Current and future workforce capacity and sustainability, based on analysis of workforce turnover, wellbeing, and skills needs, analysed by industry sector; and on analysis of forest industry employment dependence in different communities.
