Description
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (the Department) is interested in testing the effectiveness of using detector dogs to complement existing feral cat control, initially on conservation reserves in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia.
The Department is seeking expressions of interest from experienced dog trainers/handlers, with dogs, who would be willing to work with the Department over one - two years to explore and develop techniques and protocols, and demonstrate their effectiveness.
