Design and Construction of High Street Upgrade Project (Stirling Highway to Carrington Street)

Brief Description of Works:The project scope includes the following:

• • • construction of a 60m diameter roundabout at the intersection of High Street and Stirling Highway;
    • 1.5km of new carriageway along High Street with a wide median to separate traffic and preserve a number of mature trees;
    • a 1km single lane service road for residents north of High Street;
    • two grade separated pedestrian underpasses;
    • retaining walls and noise walls;
    • road furniture, fencing, drainage and street lighting;
    • accommodation works to adjacent properties, including golf courses; and
    • formalised parking off adjacent local roads.

Pre-qualification Required: Roadworks R4 or higher, Bridgeworks B1 or higher and a financial rating of at least F50.

“It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction (Improving Productivity) Act 2016, at the time of entering into the contract for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.
