Sherwood State School Classroom Refurbishment (with Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the refurbishment of Blocks A & B at Sherwood State School, located at 464 Oxley Road, Sherwood QLD 4075, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.

Sherwood State School is Heritage listed and all works will need to align with Heritage requirements. The position of the building is at the front of the school. All works are to be completed by mid January 2022.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
