Mooloolaba State School - Amenities Refurbishment (With Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of an Amenities Refurbishment at Mooloolaba SS, located at 15 Meta Street, Mooloolaba QLD 4557, as part of the Prioritised Nominated Project (PNP) program.

The scope of works consists of the refurbishment of the existing amenities block which includes the students and staff amenities, staff shower room and cleaner room. Works includes new cubicles, new lighting, new flooring, internal paint, new gutter and downpipes and new gates and screening.

All works are to be completed by July 2024.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1M

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
