Specialist Post-School Transition Support for Year 12 Students with a Disability

The Transition Program provides eligible students with disability tailored career education. The program connects students to the essential services needed to successfully transition from school to a pathway of meaningful employment, further education or training.

While the program is delivered by teachers, there is an identified need for specialist support. Accordingly, the Department for Education is seeking to engage a Supplier to provide specialist support that needs to:

• be part of the program supervision team, led by the teacher, in class and on industry immersions

• support students in class with their SACE learning and career development needs

• build industry connections that provide students work experience and job opportunities

• understand and support the Department’s ‘ Workplace Learning Procedures ’

The Transition Program is established and delivered across three sites:

- Elizabeth – 2 Woodford Road, Elizabeth 5112

- Adelaide (CBD) – 120 Currie Street, Adelaide 5000

- Noarlunga – Ramsay Place, Noarlunga Centre 5168

A Supplier is required at each of the three independent operational sites (Adelaide, Elizabeth, Noarlunga). Suppliers are welcome to quote for one or multiple sites, with a sole provider to be awarded the services for each independent site.
