Description
DBCA would like to engage a qualified contractor at Mangrove Cove Reserve in Bunbury to undertake the service of replacing the existing dual use pathway with a wider asphalt path to improve user safety and mobility access.
The scope of works consists of upgrading 892m of the existing path to meet appropriate Dual Use Path (DUP) standards including:
- Constructing approximately 892m limestone road base up to 4.0m in width.
- Construct approximately 752m of asphalt path surface at 3.0m (typical width) DUP with flush concrete kerb on each side.
- Supply and construct approximately 136m concrete paths (428m3) with 2100 to 3.0m width, tie in and make good to existing new works.
- Form and compact batters to smooth variable width from 0 to 5.0m to blend into landscape using principled supplied fill and supply additional as required as provisional item.
- Install centre line and cycle /pedestrian motifs with paint marking on DUP asphalt.
