Sutures, Skin Adhesive Glue and Skin Closure Devices to Western Australian Public Health Care Units

The scope of the proposed contract will include the supply of sutures, skin adhesive glue and skin closure devices, each in a range of sizes/needles, lengths and/or volumes for Categories 1-10 below:

• Category 1 – Suture, Absorbable - Synthetic Multifilament/Braided;
• Category 2 – Suture, Absorbable - Synthetic Monofilament;
• Category 3 – Suture, Absorbable - Non-Synthetic;
• Category 4 – Suture, Non-Absorbable - Synthetic Multifilament/Braided;
• Category 5 – Suture, Non-Absorbable - Synthetic Monofilament;
• Category 6 – Suture, Non-Absorbable - Non-Synthetic;
• Category 7 – Ties and Tapes - Absorbable;
• Category 8 – Ties and Tapes - Non-Absorbable;
• Category 9 – Adhesive - Tissue Glue; and
• Category 10 – Adhesive, Strip - Skin Closure - Hypoallergenic (new category added).

Other sutures for use in specialty procedures (i.e. Vascular) will not be included under the scope of this procurement.
