Level Crossing Lighting Upgrade - Stage 1

The scope of works includes the planning and installation of street lighting at 34 pedestrian crossings within the PTA’s electrified network. The lighting installation will improve visibility, security and safety of pedestrians at these locations.
The works include but are not limited:
• Site set-out, preparation and pouring of footings, supply and installation of light poles, supply and installation/connection of switchboards, supply and installation of location cases and required footing design and works, earthing and bonding, trenching (pit and pipework), underboring, cable running, connection of monitoring systems, energisation, testing of the installations, reporting, site and safety management and planning including consideration of pedestrians.
• Liaison with the PTA on project matters including (but not limited to):
a) Co-ordinating assessment of light pole location in respect to Train Driver signalling sighting ability (required to ensure new lights do not obscure existing signalling or other information required to be seen by train drivers);
b) Co-ordinating confirmation of bonding points
