Description
Undertake detailed analysis, interpretation and reporting of the Montagu, Duck and Inglis/Flowerdale catchments to determine the current status of physico-chemical water quality, including nutrient export coefficients for the catchments. The Department is currently undertaking assessments of water quality as part of the State of Rivers program for Tasmanian priority river systems. The Montagu, Duck and Inglis/Flowerdale Rivers require reporting of current water quality status in each catchment by the analysis, interpretation of historic and current data collected by DPIWE over a three year period. The combined results for each catchment will constitute a component of the final "State of Rivers" report for each catchment.
