Description
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) administers State Recovery in Western Australia. State Recovery have requirements to support the eight Hazard Management Agencies in WA and the 28 hazards they manage. Disaster Recovery in Western Australia is defined by the State Emergency Management Framework which captures the Policy, Plans, Procedures and Guidelines for emergency management.
The State is seeking to develop a suite of training to strengthen the knowledge and skills of Western Australian Government staff working to support communities recovering from emergency events in the state. These additional units are focused on recovery activities to the Western Australian Emergency Management Training Framework.
DFES are seeking responses from suitably qualified individuals or organisations to develop the curriculum materials for this suite of training.
