VMware Enterprise License Agreement

Health Support Services (HSS) is seeking to establish a new, system-wide VMware Enterprise License Agreement (ELA), for the provision of support and maintenance for the VMware software products currently used in the WA Health system’s ICT environment.

This Request is to find a suitable authorised VMware partner for WA Health to purchase the proposed ELA through. The successful Respondent will manage the purchasing of VMware by WA Health entities and be expected to work closely with VMware to ensure WA Health’s requirements are met and to provide value-add service. WA health will enter into a VMware ELA directly with the software provider, VMware, post the award of this Request for Tender.

Specifically, this ELA will initially cover the VMware software products currently used across HSS, WA Country Health Service (WACHS), PathWest and Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS), replacing the existing agreements across these Health Service Providers (HSPs).

The new ELA will renew the existing VMware software products for three years with the ability to add licenses and other Health Service Providers (including Department of Health) during the term of ELA.
