The Riverine Recovery Project (RRP) aims to achieve measurable long term improvements in the health of the riverine environment between Wellington and the South Australian border. The works for stage 1 of the RRP project consists of the installation of new regulating infrastructure at Bunyip Reach at four (4) sites, namely: (a) 40 Acre Swamp; (b) Braddy’s Lagoon Inlet; (c) Gillies Swamp Inlet; and (d) Gillies Swamp Outlet.
