Extra Regional Courier Services

The Business Services Branch, Corporate Services and Infrastructure Group, within the Department of Defence invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide courier services for Defence’s administrative mail (including small parcels) and the Defence Publishing Service’s publications between Defence sites within Australia and to international destinations. The successful tenderer must: • be able to provide scheduled pick up and delivery services to all Defence mailrooms across Australia, • provide pick up services from the Defence Publishing Service sites in Laverton (VIC) and Campbell Park (ACT), • have the capacity to pick up from and deliver to any Defence site in Australia, • be able to deliver to international destinations, and • be able to provide urgent deliveries nationally and internationally. The contract will be for an initial period of five years, with performance based extensions for up to an additional four years.
