Professional Event Coordinator for the Wiyi Yani U Thangani Summit 2023

The first ever National Summit for First Nations women and girls will be held in Canberra on 9-11 May 2023. It is anticipated that 200 First Nations women and girl sponsored delegates will be supported to attend, with capacity for an additional 300 - 400 to attend at their own cost. This Summit is going to have a diverse range of private and public stakeholders including policymakers and parliamentarians in attendance.

The scope of services required includes (but is not limited to)

• Event coordination and management (including with respect to, e.g. venue, third party service provider and logistics)

• Accommodation management for 200 sponsored delegates, including liaison with accommodation providers, with the possibility of more delegate positions if further sponsorship is awarded

• Registration management, including managing suitable registration system compatible with the project website

• Pre event planning sessions and post event reporting and evaluation.

• Project management and onsite event coordination (e.g. site inspections)

• Creative theme development, design, event styling and entertainment

• Exhibition and sponsor management

• Online, interactive session production (hybrid model) including platform and all audio-visual services and management

• Any other services required to deliver a successful event.
