POINT NEPEAN FACILITATED CAMPING - STAGE ONE CONSTRUCTION

REQUEST FOR TENDER

Parks Victoria are pleased to invite suitably qualified and experienced contractors to tender for the Point Nepean Facilitated Camping - Stage One Construction works.

Please refer to attached documents along with corresponding document register. As a summary, the construction works will include but not be limited to:

• Site Establishment
• Repurposing of a heritage building (Building 66) and associated outbuildings (Buildings 65A & 65B) for an amenities facility (toilets and showers), small kitchenette, luggage store and reception area
• Creation of an outdoor BBQ area adjoining the building
• Landscape works including tent platforms to establish the coastal campground on the foreshore area
• Upgrade of an existing access road and asphalt area for a camper's car park at Jarman Oval
• Installation of services for buildings, campground, car park and lighting
• Other required ancilliary activities

Tender Dates are as follows:

- Release of RFT - 6 May 2021

- Closing Time for Tenders - 9 July 2021

- Decision on Tenders - 30 July 2021

- Execution/Award of Contract - 31 August 2021

SITE VISIT

SITE VISIT HAS BEEN DELAYED DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS AS PER BELOW AND PER ADDENDUM05.

Tenderers are invited to a site walkthrough on 23 June 2021 at 11:00am with the key design team presenting a walkthrough of the project. This briefing is mandatory.

PRACTICAL COMPLETION DATE

Current Practical Completion date for the works has been changed from 20 December 2021 to 31 March 2022 as per ADDENDUM05.
