Description
A key strategy in achieving this business objective is the provision of world-class
Railcar Maintenance and Related Services in order to ensure that the highest standards of availability, reliability and passenger safety and comfort are achieved in a cost effective manner.
Proponents are being asked to consider both five and ten year contract periods.
TransAdelaide would expect to gain additional benefits for commitment to the longer period.
Proponents are encouraged to put forward their most competitive and innovative proposals.
A briefing session will be held at the Adelaide Riviera Motel, 31-34 North Terrace, Adelaide,
at 11.00am on Monday, 5 April 2004.A site inspection of the Railcar Depot will follow the briefing session.Attendance at the briefing session and site inspection by an authorised representative(s) of the proponent is a condition precedent to the submission of a proposal.
