RFT for Digital Audio System

The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is the principal support agency for the operations of Parliament House. As well as its responsibility for the building, the department provides protective security services, Hansard and broadcasting services for the Parliament, and ICT, library and research services to members of Parliament, parliamentary committees and other building occupants. DPS wishes to engage a suitably qualified organisation to supply a Digital Audio System (DAS) to Parliament House, Canberra. The current DAS records and provides playback of all parliamentary debates and committee hearings, including interstate hearings, for the production of Hansard transcripts and related purposes. DPS is also investigating the option of vendor support arrangements.
