The Australian Public Service Commission is seeking a suitably experienced supplier to respond to this Management Advisory Services Request for Tender. The Australian Public Service Commission is conducting a review of SES and non-SES classification levels and structures against best practice and emerging workforce needs (APS Classification Review).

Suitable suppliers will provide strategic advisory support to the Commission in the delivery of the APS Classification Review, assisting with the development of a clear, effective and efficient classification structure fit for the future.

The APS Classification Review is based on Recommendation 32 of the Independent Review of the Australian Public Service to streamline management and adopt best practice ways of working to reduce hierarchy, improve decision-making and bring the right APS expertise and resources.

A draft report detailing proposed recommendations arising from the APS Classification Review is due to be delivered to the Australian Public Service Commissioner by June 2021.
