Description
Finance is seeking to appoint a supplier with the capacity to provide insurance broking services to Comcover and Comcover Fund Members.
The supplier will be required to provide professional advice to Comcover and Fund Members on the scoping of insurances in the commercial insurance markets.
The supplier must have the capacity and ability to place insurance in the Australian and international insurance markets.
The supplier will be expected to provide advice and periodic updates to Comcover staff on trends, changes, and products in the Australian and international insurance markets.
Comcover is the area within the Department of Finance that manages the Comcover Fund, which was established in 1998 to manage the Commonwealth’s insurable risks. Fund Members refers to Commonwealth entities that are classified to the General Government Sector that are members of the Comcover Fund.
