RFT for the provision of Software Support Services for the Workflow and Imaging Systems of the Australian Passport Office

The Commonwealth of Australia represented by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of Software Support Services for the Workflow and Imaging Systems of the Australian Passport Office. The Australian Passport Office (APO) is responsible for the operation of DFAT?s business processes and systems that support the production and issue of Australian travel documents to eligible applicants.

The APO utilises a decentralised workflow and imaging system known as Delta (which is owned by DFAT) for which Software Support Services are required. Delta provides a graphical user interface to the workflow and imaging processes and interfaces. Delta communicates with DFAT?s mainframe based Passport Issue and Control System (PICS) at specific points within the workflow via MQSeries.

The Contractor will be required to provide software support Services encompassing:
> Delta support;
> Software Development and Enhancement;
> Software Maintenance; and
> Project and Facilities Management.
