ITR for Managing Contractor for Project R8077 & R8085: AIR5431 & AIP

Registrations of Interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced entities to undertake the role of Managing Contractor for Project R8085/8077.

Project R8077:AIR 5431 Phase 2/3 seeks to procure a new Defence Air Traffic Management and Control System to replace the existing Australian Defence Air Traffic System. The new Defence Air Traffic Management and Control System will comprise of new fixed surveillance sensors and command and control systems. Phase 2 related works will include refurbishment and replacement of sensor equipment buildings at nine locations. Phase 3 related works will be met as part of the ADF Air Traffic Control Complex Infrastructure Project; and

Project R8085: ADF Air Traffic Control Complex Infrastructure Project seeks to upgrade existing degraded air traffic control complex infrastructure at 12 Defence base locations and will support the facilities requirement of the Phase 3 element of AIR5431. Specifically, the Project seeks to rectify deficiencies with existing Air Traffic Control Towers and the Airfield Systems Complex, including either replacement or refurbishment as required. The project will ensure alignment of the scope of works and delivery schedule with the Phase 3 element of AIR 5431.
