Cultural Institutions Storage Facility - Relocation Services

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is seeking to appoint a sole contractor to plan and deliver the preparation, packing and physical relocation of key collections held by the state’s Cultural Institutions to a new purpose built facility. The Cultural Institutions include the Art Gallery of South Australia, the South Australian Museum, the State Library of South Australia and the History Trust of South Australia. A small volume of collections held by Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation are also in scope to be moved.

All conservator advice is to be provided by Artlab Australia.

The successful respondent will be required to provide:

• The Collections Preparation Plan.
• The Relocation Plan.

The successful respondent will be required to undertake:

• The acquisition of all materials to facilitate the implementation of the Collections Preparation Plan.
• The relocation of the collections.

The work is to be undertaken within the metropolitan area of Adelaide.
