Legacy magnetic tape transcription and remastering; seismic, bathymetry and well data

This procurement seeks to engage with a supplier to provide tape transcription services to copy and concatenate geophysical survey (seismic or bathymetry) and well data stored on legacy format physical media to modern tape cartridge formats or hard drives, and concatenate data where applicable. The items do not always represent a complete survey or well package.

Seismic and reprocessed seismic data must be transcribed, remastered, concatenated and duplicated to either 3592 tape cartridges or hard drive so data items are readable and usable with data and data format integrity retained, and with one survey and one media type per output tape. Multiple surveys and data type can be exported to a single hard drive.

Velocity and navigation data must be transcribed to hard drive with data and data format integrity retained.

Well data includes LIS and unknown formats, which require transcription to hard drives and conversion to standardised LAS formats so data items are readable and usable with data and data format integrity retained.

Bathymetric data: Data will primarily be transcribed to HDD. Options for data to be transferred to cloud if available will also be assessed.
