Description
Transport and Main Roads (the “Customer”) requires consultant support to assist with the development of a public transport operational concept for the 21st Commonwealth Games being held on the Gold Coast and regional centres (Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane) in April 2018.
The Candidature City File, or 'bid-book', outlined a transport strategy for the Games which included a heavy focus on public transport for both spectators and workforce while limiting private car access to competition venues.
A consultant is required to work with the Customer’s officers on developing a suitable spectator and workforce transport operational concept for all venues including regional centres and investigating related policy and operational issues.
