Nundah State High School New lift, shaft and stairs (with Heritage works)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for submissions for the construction of a new lift (Block A) at Nundah State School, located at 133 Buckland Street, Nundah Qld 4012 as part of the Education 4 All (ED4ALL) program.

The works include the construction of a blockwork lift shaft with a patterned brick veneer external, supply and install of the lift, landings to each level and new stairs. The lift will be adjoining Block A which is of extreme heritage significance and the successful contractor will be required to have previous experience working with Heritage listed buildings under an Exemption Certificate and take extreme care when working with the significant fabrics.

Tender submissions will only be accepted from contractors with a minimum QBCC Builders licence and certified 3rd Party ISO 9001 Quality Assurance and ability to undertake the entire scope of works.
