To develop a report that will provide a cost-effective, evidence-based approach to managing floodplain infrastructure sustainably, considering climate change impacts. It will propose flood risk mitigation strategies, land use sustainability and regulatory simplification for low-risk infrastructure, with recommendations of strategies for managing high-risk infrastructure and create a method for rationalising tidal estuary floodplain expenditure in NSW.
