Provision of Pest Management Services

The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the provision of Pest Management Services to Queensland Rail. It includes various administration buildings, workshops, depots and yards across the statewide rail network.

Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:

• Scope of services is for the preventative treatment measures for & removal of:
  • General pests (cockroaches, silverfish, wasps, hornets, insects, ants, fleas/lice, mites, flies, midgies, spiders)
  • Bed bugs on rollingstock (Brisbane & Cairns only)
  • Rodents
  • Birds
  • Possums
  • Termites
  • Fire Ants (South East Queensland only)

• Tenders are sought according to the following Rail Network Segments:

  1. Normanton - encompassing Tablelands System

  2. North West QLD- encompassing Mt Isa Line

  3. Central West QLD - encompassing Central Western System

  4. North Coast - North Coast Line Rockhampton to Cairns, including Kuranda Railway

  5. North Coast - North Coast Line Maryborough to Rockhampton

  6. South East Queensland, including Rosewood to Toowoomba component of West Moreton Line

  7. South West QLD - encompassing West Moreton, Western System & South Western System

  Tenderers may offer for one or more of the above network segments.
